Heavenly Father,
on this day we rejoice in the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
the pure and holy Mother of your Son.
Through her "yes," the world received its Saviour,
and your promise of salvation was fulfilled.
Grant that we, who celebrate her nativity,
may grow in faith, hope, and love,
and, by her prayers,
come closer to the heart of Christ your Son.
May her life inspire us
to trust in your plan
and to serve you with joyful hearts.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
