Saint Mary Magdalene,
first witness of the Resurrection and apostle to the apostles,
you remained close to Jesus in His suffering,
and you rejoiced to recognize Him risen in the garden.
Pray for us, that we may seek Christ with the same devotion,
love Him with the same boldness,
and proclaim His mercy with the same courage.
Help us to rise from sin into the light of grace,
and to follow the Risen Lord wherever He leads.
Amen.
