Let us pray

Heavenly Father,
as we celebrate the Ascension of Your Son into glory,
we thank You for the gift of salvation and the promise of eternal life.
Lord Jesus, though You ascended to the Father,
You remain with us always through the Holy Spirit,
guiding Your Church with love and strength.
Help us to keep our hearts fixed on heaven
while faithfully carrying out Your mission on earth.
Give us courage to proclaim the Gospel,
hope in times of doubt,
and trust in Your constant presence.
May the Blessed Virgin Mary and all the saints
intercede for us,
so that one day we may share fully
in the glory of Your Kingdom.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
