DAY 6
THE LAST SEVEN WORDS OF CHRIST
WORD 2: SALVATION
Amidst agony on Calvary, Jesus promises Paradise to a condemned thief, illustrating profound grace. This stark contrast between the desolate crucifixion scene and the promise of lush Paradise underscores the transformative power of faith and forgiveness, challenging perceptions of worthiness and revealing Jesus' authority to offer eternal hope.
How can I extend forgiveness and compassion to others, even in challenging circumstances?
Lord Jesus, in moments of unimaginable suffering, You extended grace to a thief, offering him a place in Paradise. Grant us the courage to believe in Your promises, no matter how distant they seem. Help us to remember Your mercy and to extend forgiveness as freely as You have given it to us. Amen.
