Lord Jesus,
at the Jordan River You humbled Yourself,
standing among sinners and revealing the Father’s love.
The heavens were opened, the Spirit descended,
and the Father proclaimed You as His beloved Son.
Renew in us the grace of our own baptism.
Wash us clean of sin,
strengthen us with the Holy Spirit,
and help us to live as beloved children of God.
May we walk in faith,
serve with humility,
and reflect Your light to the world.
We ask this in the name of the Father,
and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit.
