WHERE ARE YOUR WOUNDS?
True faith is not lived in comfort but in the willingness to stand for what is right, even when it costs us. The principal’s question—"Was there nothing worth fighting for?"—challenges us to examine our own lives. Do we risk wounds for justice and love, or do we seek safety? Jesus entered into our loneliness to offer us connection. We are called to do the same for others, walking beside them with love and compassion.
What is worth fighting for in my life, and am I willing to bear the wounds that come with it?
Come Lord Jesus. Take away our “Alone-ness” and give us intimacy with you. Let it no longer be “I am” but forever “we are” Amen.
